막장 드라마가 판치는 요즘 보기 드물게 '착한 드라마'라는 호평을 얻은 SBS 주말극 '가문의 영광'(연출 박영수ㆍ극본 정지우)이 인센티브 상을 수상했다.
In a world of today, where makjang dramas reign unchallenged, the SBS family drama “FAMILY HONOR” became known as a 'nice drama,' (directed by Park Yeong Soo, written by Jeong Ji Woo) winning a ‘Good Incentive Award.’
SBS 하금열 사장은 최근 SBS 브랜드 이미지와 프로그램 경쟁력 제고에 기여했다며 '가문의 영광' 박영수 PD를 비롯한 제작진의 노고를 치하하고 인센티브 상과 상금을 수여했다.
The President of SBS Kumyeol Ha presented the ‘Good Incentive’ money awards and prizes to the producer of "Family Honor," Yeong Soo Park P.D. and the rest of the production team, for helping raise the good image of SBS company and its broadcasting programs.
지난해 10월11일 첫 방송된 '가문의 영광'은 가족 간의 사랑과 화해를 그리며 30%에 육박하는 시청률로 뜨거운 사랑을 받았다.
Starting on October 11th of last year, “Family Honor” portrayed the love and reconciliation within family members, and it became really popular, ratings going up to almost 30%.
특히 '가문의 영광'은 '아내의 유혹' 등 막장 드라마가 대세인 요즘 종가(宗家)를 배경으로 가족과 형제의 의미, 그리고 그들의 사랑과 인간관계를 담담한 시선으로 그려내 호평을 받았다.
Moreover, while makjang dramas such as “Temptation of the Wife” is ruling the day, “Family Honor” portrayed the story of an oldest son and his siblings and the rest of the family members, and the development of their love relationships.
****Makjang drama: extremely violent, irrational, exaggerated, blown out of proportion.
Honestly, I was a little confused with the title. Is the title implying that FH is makjang or not? Some other articles said something like: "Why Family Honor succeeded 'in spite' of being Makjang"  In someone's blog, she compared this drama against other 'makjang' dramas... and someone replied and said that FH was also 'makjang.' Of course, this person got twenty some replies refuting that opinion... but still~ I am... confused  |
